How conversations work
Private messages are co-authored.
Inside Ayni, no one can DM you uninvited. To open a private channel, a member asks publicly in the feed. You decide publicly. Only then do DMs unlock between the two of you.

Type /dm @member in the public feed. The request is visible to the room.
Step 02
Public consent
The other member responds publicly, yes or no, on the record. No silent ghosting either way.
Step 03
DMs unlock
Now the two of you can chat privately. Rakel and Sergio can DM members directly, the consent step is for peer-to-peer.
